Color
Slightly cloudy golden yellow with green reflections.
Nose
Flinty, smoky, yeasty - this is the first impression of the 2021 Grüner Veltliner Riede Steiner Schreck Dritter Akt, which was pressed using the historic tree press. Citrus fruit, star fruit, green apple, camomile, dried rose and elderflower follow with air. All the flavours are finely interwoven and have a beguiling effect, encouraging the first sip.
Palate
Stringent acidity, perfectly embedded in the fruit and body, sweeps across our palate. The saliva flows, you can't get enough of this wonderful wine. Everything seems to be floating and incredibly delicate, even the moderate alcohol of just 10.5 vol%, where else can you find that? A great and delicate Grüner Veltliner that sets completely new standards.
