Nose
Lemon, lemon balm, green apple, eucalyptus and sage dominate the opening, cool freshness literally leaps out of the glass and mixes with crushed rock notes once it has been decanted and arrived in the large Burgundy glass. Ethereal notes reminiscent of lemon oil, pickled fruit and herbs are also beautifully present.
Palate
The palate convinces with crisp freshness and crystal-clear structure, the acidity of the 2021 Riesling Riede S. "This is not a love song" vibrates and lingers on the tongue with a salty trace. A wine that whets the appetite perfectly and makes you fall a little bit in love with its beguiling character and finesse, which manages with just 11 vol%.
Be sure to decant and enjoy from large Burgundy glasses.
