Packaging Units

Unless otherwise stated, all bottles contain 0.75 litres. Most wine cartons contain 12/1 bottles, whilst sparkling wine and champagne cartons usually contain 6/1 bottles.

Prices

All prices are ex warehouse as (gross) individual bottle prices. Prices include statutory value added tax (in the business customer area: (net) individual prices plus statutory value added tax), which is shown separately on the invoice. The prices applicable at the time of your order apply. All previous prices are thereby invalid. The validity period of our limited-time offers can be found where these are displayed in the shop. Despite careful stocking, it is possible that a promotional item may sell out faster than expected. We therefore do not provide a delivery guarantee. The following applies: only whilst stocks last.

Conclusion of Contract and Storage of Contract Text

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalogue. Sale and dispatch by Taits UG (limited liability). You can add goods to your virtual shopping basket by clicking the „Order“ or „Add to basket“ buttons. Before placing your order, you will be given the opportunity on a displayed website to identify and correct any input errors before submitting your contract declaration. Please check your order carefully.
By clicking the „Buy“ button, you submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase agreement for the goods contained in your shopping basket. You have the option to save or print your order after you have placed it. Confirmation of receipt of the order follows immediately after submission of the order and does not yet constitute acceptance of the contract. We declare our acceptance of the contract expressly or by delivery of the goods or by requesting payment – whichever occurs first – by the end of the fourth working day following your order. If we offer you the opportunity to pay for the order beforehand, this constitutes our binding offer to conclude a purchase agreement with the selectable payment method to you, which you can accept by making the payment, whereby the contract is concluded by your payment.
We store the contract text and send you the order data and our terms and conditions by email. You can view the terms and conditions here at any time. Your order data is not accessible via the internet for security reasons. A contract can be concluded in German language.
If, after conclusion of the contract, we determine that we cannot permanently deliver the ordered goods without being responsible (e.g. due to force majeure, non-delivery despite timely reordering), we may withdraw from the contract. In this case, we will notify you immediately and refund any payments already made.

Youth Protection Act

In accordance with the Youth Protection Act, we only deliver alcoholic beverages to persons who have reached the age of 18. Our packaging is marked with a prominent coloured sticker indicating that no delivery is made to persons under 18 years of age. Furthermore, delivery personnel are obliged, at the slightest doubt, to verify identity and majority by presenting an identity card and to hand over the goods only to persons of legal age.

Online Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform, which you can find via this link. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 4 weeks without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 4 weeks from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

You can use the model withdrawal form for this purpose, but this is not required.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery than the inexpensive standard delivery offered by us), immediately and no later than fourteen days from the day on which notification of your withdrawal of this contract was received by us. For this refund, we will use the same payment method you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged a fee for this refund. We will collect the goods. We bear the costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if the loss in value is due to handling not necessary for the examination of the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.
