Rhône

The Rhône Valley spans the arc from the steep granite slopes of the north to the sun-drenched limestone terraces of the south. Whilst in the north the Syrah unfolds its peppery elegance, the south is defined by characterful cuvées of Grenache and Carignan — from the likes of Roche-Audran or Chêne Bleu — painting the picture of a landscape shaped by the Mistral. These are wines of archaic power and profound vitality, preserving the mineral austerity and warmth of the valley in their purest form.
