Wine information
Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier
Color
slightly transparent ruby red
Nose
The Coteaux Champenois Reminiscent of redcurrants, some pomegranate, sour cherry and plum with raisins and some undergrowth with leaves.
Palate
On the palate, this is a rather light wine with a pronounced acidity and a thoroughly ripe, rather dark fruit, in which the rapports flash up again. Is this the new kind of Vin de Soif from the Champagne region?
Food recommendations by Christoph Raffelt
- Tarte flambée with bacon and onions
- Tartine with butternut squash and chèvre
- Sweet potato, bacon and cashew nut gratin
