Colour & appearance
Dark purple red with violet reflections and a deep, almost black centre - a wine that visually anticipates its youth and vitality.
Nose
The Granato 2017 opens with dark blackberries, Elderberry and Black cherriessupplemented by Dried plums. With air contact Carnations, black pepper and crushed juniper. The typical Teroldego floral notes are restrained but precise - a complex interplay of flavours that calls for large glasses and patience.
Palate
This is where the true class of the Granato is revealed: velvety texture meets Extract-rich fruit, while fine-grained tannins give the wine an aristocratic structure. The balance between full-fruity opulence and cool elegance is achieved effortlessly. A majestic acidity carries the wine with subtle noblesse - powerful, but never heavy, always characterised by alpine freshness.
