Dr Georg Meißner is one of the most important scientists and advisors when it comes to biodynamic viticulture. His research takes place on site and very specifically in the vineyard, but also in long-term test series at the Geisenheim University and Research Centre. During his apprenticeship as a winegrower, he got to know and love Roussillon. Over time, he acquired two vineyards there that would otherwise have fallen victim to deforestation. He lives with his family in South Tyrol, where he worked for Alois Lageder, among others. Although he is regularly at Roussillion, he works closely with Flo Busch, who cultivates his vineyards. The cellar is also shared. The preservation of the Carignan and Grenache vineyards, which are over 100 years old, and the wine produced from them is and remains a matter of the heart.
