Wine information
"Acrollam" is Mallorca spelled backwards. Winemaker Barbara Mesquida Mora likes to work in her own way and "the opposite of what is usual", as she says herself. She produces her Arcollam 2022 from biodynamically cultivated vines of the autochthonous varieties Premsal and Giró Ros. The grapes come from two vineyards in the south-east of the island. Mesquida Mora ferments the Premsal on the skins, the Giró Ros after direct pressing. The result is a white wine that is as fine as it is full-bodied, which eludes the established canon.

Nose
The white wine has a stimulating bouquet of yellow apple and dried Mediterranean herbs. Citrus fruit and spicy aromas also show on the fresh mineral nose. Thus, Arcollam Blanc 2022 offers an interesting bouquet with intensity and depth.
Palate
Fine tannins are noticeable on the palate, the wine is grippy and well structured. It is also aromatic and slightly tart. The lively acidity and the powerful body are very well matched. The salty-mineral finish is particularly stimulating. All in all, the Arcollam 2022 is a wonderfully fresh white wine from a hot vintage. It is independent, has personality and tension and should shine as a companion to many dishes.
