Color
Bright cherry red with a dark centre and lighter rim, slightly cloudy
Nose
An enormously dark-looking Pinot Noir. Morello cherry, blackberry, raspberry and sweet cherry are in the foreground. Redcurrant and raspberry lag somewhat behind. Despite all the fruit, it manages to convey a stony and cool sensation. A fine fragrance of lilac, violets and pansies lingers in the air. Full of elegance, very soft and delicate. Some juniper and ground red pepper provide a pleasant and enormously harmonious flavour.
Palate
On the palate, it immediately shows its rough edges. Its fruitiness really stands up to scrutiny. Green accents provide a tart freshness. The bitter flavours are memorable and put the pedal to the metal. The fruit has a moderating effect. It flows distinctively over the palate. It lives up to its cool elegance. The spiciness is combined with a slight sharpness. Nutty nuances characterise the finish.
