With just 11.5% alcohol, this wine embodies a new, more honest language of the Douro: fresh, vibrant, eminently drinkable. Not a wine that seeks to impress – but one that invites.

Terroir & Origin

The Douro is one of the oldest and most dramatic wine regions in the world – steep schist terraces, extreme temperature swings between day and night, sparse soils that force the vines to dig deep. Schist defines everything here: it stores heat, imparts minerality and gives the wines their distinctive structure. The vintage 2018 brought ripe, well-balanced fruit with good freshness to the Douro – a solid foundation for a wine of this style.

Grape Variety & Vinification

The blend of Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca and Tempranillo (locally known as Tinta Roriz) reflects the traditional diversity of the Douro. Tinta Amarela brings freshness and elegance, Touriga Franca floral aromatics and structure, Tempranillo body and fruit.
