Color
Medium golden yellow, with delicate copper reflections.
Nose
The 2019 Pinot Gris from Albert Mann smells charmingly of orange, ripe apple and walnut; exotic hints of mango and pineapple join in after a longer opening. Cardamom, anise and dried ginger as well as delicate smoky notes give it a richness of facets.
Palate
With much melting and creamy structure it meets the tongue. Its juicy fruit, the fine aniseed note and the spice of the ginger in combination with a fresh acidity make it a wonderful food companion. An invigorating Pinot Gris from Alsace that doesn't fill you up, but makes you want to take a second sip!
