Colour & Appearance

Dense, saturated purple with delicate violet reflections – a wine that already signals power and depth in the glass.

Nose

The nose is a multi-layered, dark fruit panorama: elderberry, blueberry, cassis and sweet cherry come together juicy and clear, never tipping into heaviness. Beneath this unfolds a spicy layer of pepper, juniper and thyme – an unmistakably Mediterranean signature. Balsamic notes of cedarwood, undergrowth and a hint of smoke, along with ethereal pine needles, lend the bouquet complexity and depth. Impressively well-balanced.

Palate

On the palate, the wine shows itself juicy, gripping and surprisingly light-footed. The fruit shifts elegantly towards sour cherry, lending the wine raciness and contrast. The mouthfeel is silky and smooth, the tannin barely perceptible – instead, a compelling, precise acidity structure carries the wine with freshness and grip. Aromatically it unfolds in waves: fruit, spice, ethereal notes, balsamic.

Finish

Long and expressive. In the aftertaste, dark chocolate and above all liquorice dominate – in that balsamic-ethereal expression that lends the finish genuine depth and sustained length.

The Habla del Silencio hails from Extremadura in south-western Spain – one of the most distinctive and exciting wine regions of the Iberian Peninsula. The hot, continental climate with cool nights is reflected in the intensity and simultaneous freshness of the wine.

Grape Variety & Vinification

A confident blend of Syrah, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon – three varieties that speak convincingly together here. At 13.5% vol., the wine remains on the elegant side despite its density.

Food Pairing Recommendations

Excellent with herb-roasted lamb leg with Provençal herbs, grilled Ibérico pork or a wild boar ragout. Also a fitting accompaniment to mature Manchego or dark bitter chocolate.
