Wine profile
This beauty, the Corinto grape, has its roots in Greece and finds expression in a volcanic and sandy hierarchy at an altitude of 350 metres. The grapes are destemmed and fermented in French oak barrels for ten days, sedating under the grape's 'hat' at regular intervals. After malolactic fermentation, it preserves its quality in 500-litre barrels and enjoys a year before being bottled, natural and unfined.
Color
Wrapped in a discreet ruby red that sparkles with violet reflections.
Scent
This enchanting ensemble of Corinto and Nero d'Avola unfolds lively notes of sour cherries, blueberries and violets in the 2018 vintage, complemented by Mediterranean spices such as rosemary, thyme and juniper. A delicate pepper note underlines the fruity and checkered profile. An impressive range of scents that absorbs both cold and warmth, making the enjoyment of this wine a special experience.
Taste
The freshness and fruity presence continues on the palate, complemented by mild tannins, a stimulating spiciness and a very pleasant flow. It is made particularly exciting by the invigorating acidity and a subtle salty note that spreads tinglingly across the tongue. A wonderful wine that captures the spirit of Sicily - stimulating, seductive and never exhausting.
Food recommendation
Try sun-dried tomatoes with aged pecorino and olive. Give grilled mullet a special kick with anchovies, cherry tomatoes, herbs, olives and olive oil. Enjoy a herb-crusted lamb fillet served with spinach and rosemary spiced potatoes for an unforgettable gastronomic adventure.
