- Initially surprisingly ethereal and spicy. A Mediterranean herb symphony unfolds: rosemary, thyme, juniper, tarragon and wild sage. After decanting, the wine reveals its fruity facets – vineyard peach, orange, redcurrant, wild raspberry and a fine rhubarb note.

- Powerful and complex in structure – no lightweight aperitif rosé, but a serious wine with substance. The juicy fruit flatters, yet the spicy complexity dominates. The mineral tension of the volcanic terroir lends it depth and considerable ageing potential.

- The vineyards on Lipari lie at 350 metres elevation over mineral-rich volcanic sand – a terroir that gives the wine its characteristic minerality and complexity. The Aeolian Islands offer unique conditions for autochthonous grape varieties.

- Predominantly Corinto Nero (also known as Korinthianki) with a small proportion of other Sicilian autochthonous varieties such as Nero d’Avola. Direct pressing in pneumatic press, fermentation in stainless steel, followed by six months of bâtonnage – this yeast ageing imparts additional texture and complexity to the wine.
