Colour & Appearance
Delicate salmon rosé with fine, medium-sized bubbles that rise evenly and vibrantly in the glass – a visual promise of elegance and freshness.
Nose
Powerfully red-fruited with blackcurrant, raspberry and wild strawberry, complemented by pear, yellow apple and pomelo. Behind these unfold nutty-spicy notes – almond on shortbread, lightly caramelised, like an almond tart. A subtle ethereal freshness reminiscent of blackcurrant wood or fir branches. Herbal hints of summer savory, marjoram and sage provide structure. Overarching it all is a salty-chalky minerality that makes the bouquet clear and modern.
Palate
Light-footed, taut and characterised by high minerality. The acidity works in concert with the mousse, creating a vibrant interplay of freshness, saltiness and energy – like a salt-lemon effect on the tongue. Based on the 2022 vintage, this Champagne lives up to its name: a substantial 40% reserve wines feature here – tradition in action. 75% is vinified in stainless steel, with the remaining quarter in oak barrels. The Extra Brut was released with a restrained 1.5g/l dosage.
