Palate

On the palate, the wine shows youthful freshness, with yellow fruit, fine, well-integrated acidity and a pleasant grip that lends tension and structure. A creamy, silky texture gives the wine depth and elegance – light-footed, yet far from trivial.

Finish

Terroir & Origin

The wine comes from the gardens of the venerable Nikolaihof in the Wachau, one of Austria’s oldest wine estates with biodynamic cultivation. The Wachau primary rock terraces impart mineral freshness and characterful individuality to the wine.

The Neuburger is an autochthonous Austrian grape variety that has found one of its last significant homelands in the Wachau.
