Terroir & Origin

The Ried Vom Stein is a parcel within the Ried Silberbichl in Mautern. The 4.2-hectare vineyard site extends in a north-northeast orientation between 209 and 237 metres above sea level. The rigol soils composed of clay, loess and Danube gravel impart the Riesling with its characteristic minerality and structure.

This mature Federspiel harmonises beautifully with pan-fried char, zander fillet with butter sauce, asparagus with Hollandaise sauce or mature Comté cheese. Also an excellent choice with Wiener Schnitzel or sautéed mushrooms.
