Wine Description for Rosé Brut Nature by Drappier

Colour & Appearance
Luminous salmon pink with seductive copper-coloured reflexes – a lively, fine-beaded mousse underscores the elegant first impression in the glass.
Nose
The nose is immediate and inviting: strawberry and raspberry meet juicy blood orange and a hint of clove. Beneath shimmer notes of sweet cherry and an almost playful blackcurrant fizz – fruity, direct, with genuine depth.
Palate
On the palate, the Champagne unfolds with surprising juiciness and pleasant fullness. Grenadine, blood orange and fine notes of brioche and toast weave through a performance that is simultaneously round and structured. The perlage is lively, the acidity precisely calibrated – a Champagne that drinks as though it were made for this very moment.
Finish
Dry, fresh and clear – the Brut Nature philosophy reveals itself in the finish without any artifice: no dosage, no compromises, instead mineral directness and lingering fruit.
Terroir & Origin
The grapes come from organically farmed vineyards around Urville in the Côte des Bar, where Jurassic Kimmeridge limestone soils give Pinot Noir its characteristic minerality and structure, qualities that have defined the House of Drappier for generations.
Grape Variety & Vinification
Pure Pinot Noir, vinified using the saignée method, which gives the wine its intense colour and fruit depth. Neither filtered nor dosed – an uncompromising Brut Nature. The sulphite content is below 40 mg/l. The disgorgement date is engraved on the bottle bottom.
Food Pairing Suggestions
A Champagne that calls for company: ideal with grilled salmon, tuna tataki, charcuterie and robust cheese selections. Also a convincing choice with duck breast or dishes paired with Pinot Noir.
Special Features
Organic viticulture, minimal sulphite content and the absence of any dosage make this rosé an honest natural product from the House of Drappier – one of the most reliable quality producers of the Côte des Bar. Those who note the disgorgement date on the bottle bottom will drink this Champagne in its optimal drinking window.
