Color
In pure bright gold with a discreet oily texture, the wine appears clear and shiny in the glass.
Nose
The nose goes on a fantastic holiday trip and doesn't want to leave the glass. A plethora of associative images pop into the head per breath. Freshly baked rhubarb meringue pie with crispy puff pastry. Tarte Tatin. Acacia honey candied figs and toasted pine nuts. Montelimar nougat with dates in brioche. This Vouvray is full of intensity and vitality, yet exudes an introspective calm.
Palate
The liquid gold of the 2015 Cuvée Constance from Domaine Huet unveils itself on the palate to reveal all its finesse. Dense, full-bodied and with aromatic radiance, the wine glides down the throat. Delicate acidity gives the pronounced sweetness joyful momentum. In the never-ending reverberation, all aromas are again illuminated from all sides by a change of perspective and slowly fade out in canon.
