Arbane

Also known as: Albane, Arbane vrai

One of the rarest Champagne grape varieties – today represented on less than two hectares across the entire Champagne region. Arbane was on the brink of extinction when a few winemakers in the Côte des Bar rediscovered it. The grape produces wines of finesse, herb-spiced with taut acidity and an aromatic profile that ranges between lime and white pepper. Rare as a blending partner, even rarer as a single varietal.
