Petit Clergeot

One parcel. One grape variety. One vintage. Champagne Petit Clergeot reduced to the essentials. When Paul-Bastien Clergeot took over the family vineyards in Polisot in 2017, he formulated his manifesto: no blending of different sites, no mixing of vintages - instead Radical transparency of origin. A philosophy that he shared with pioneers such as Olivier Horiot shares.
Eight hectares between Polisot, Les Riceys and Balnot-sur-Laignes, since 2020 certified organic. The Chevry plot with vines from 1975 on Kimmeridge chalk delivers champagne of precise tension. All wines are without dosage bottled - Brut Nature, as the grape would have it.
