Wine Description for naked rosé 2025 by Heinrich
- Character
- A consistently purist expression of Burgenland winemaking art. This wine presents itself completely bone-dry, unpretentious and with a refreshing, taut structure. Instead of agreeable fruit sweetness, it impresses with pure drinking pleasure, a fine spice and an unadorned, honest race that marks the entry into the artisanal philosophy of the Heinrich estate.
- Terroir & Origin
- Shaped by the contrasting landscapes around Gols on Lake Neusiedl. The vines benefit both from the cool, limestone-rich slopes of the Leithagebirge and from the warm gravel and red slate soils of the Parndorfer Platte. This interplay gives the wine its lively freshness and a subtle saline note of origin.
- Grape Variety & Vinification
- Pressed from the indigenous flagship variety Blaufränkisch, this rosé reflects the biodynamic ethos of the winery. Gernot and Heike Heinrich have been working according to strict biodynamic principles since 2006 (respekt-BIODYN and Demeter-certified). The grapes are spontaneously fermented, processed without cosmetic intervention and bottled unadorned, preserving the focused and cool character of the grape variety.
- Food Pairings
- A versatile partner for modern, natural cuisine. Outstandingly suited to crayfish starters, light char tartare, air-dried ham or straightforward tapas. It also shows its refreshing strength alongside summer salads with sheep’s milk cheese.
