The 2015 Meerspinne Riesling GG from Weingut Christmann flaunts yellow stone fruit, apricots, medlars and red apple skin on the nose. With accents of mild spices and blossom honey, it has an open-hearted nature, already very approachable and jovial. Its fine minerality lends a delicate saltiness to the finish, mingled with tart, extract-rich fruit.
Mouth
With calm transparency on the palate, it appears very sorted and thoughtful on the nose. Finely fruity without kitsch and disturbing fruit jelly, it has a slender acid arc and cool, mineral reverberation with notes of tangerine oil and star fruit. Unagitated and matter-of-fact, it is a representative of the gentle Palatinate without shoulder pads.
