Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise „Les Clous Aime“ AOC 2022

The de Villaine family is famous in the wine world, as they are co-owners of Romanée-Conti. Not only there, but also on their second vineyard, the Domaine A. Et P. de Villaine, they practice biodynamic viticulture of the highest quality. The terroir around Bouzeron, Rully and Mercurey offers best conditions for this. The soils are low in nutrients; lean calcareous sandstone keeps yields low. The warm microclimate of the sun-drenched valley allows the grapes to ripen well. The wines are aged in barrels or tanks. Oak is used only very moderately here, so as not to mask the wine with vanilla or wood aromas. Authenticity combined with a high quality standard is the trump card here!
