Color
Strong amber with bright orange reflexes.
Nose
The 2015 TBA from Anita and Hans Nittnaus is highly complex on the nose Montelimar nougat is broken into its individual components as if through a prism Almonds, pistachios and honey mix with candied fruit, apricots, candied orange peel and quince jelly. Delicate smoky notes in the top round off the melange, a leaf of light tobacco provides additional strength.
Mouth
With baroque splendour, the TBA covers the palate of the taster like a high-pile, velvety carpet. Viscous with fruity-sweet opulence, it is on the one hand of lavish fullness, but sets the indicator left by the well-integrated acidity of the Chardonnay. The aromas of apricots, quinces and nuts are reflected on the palate and remain in the long finish.
Food recommendations from Sebastian Bordthäuser
