Hajnos kék
Hajnos kék is one of the old Hungarian grape varieties that are almost forgotten today. The name means „Hajnos Blue“, where „Hajnos“ possibly derives from the German word „Heunisch“. The grape produces light, fruit-driven red wines with little tannin – some are reminiscent of Cabernet Franc.
At Lake Balaton, Bencze Birtók works with this rare variety.
