Vietti is undoubtedly one of the best producers in Piedmont. Vietti was a pioneer in the production of terroir-based site Barolo and Babaresco. At a time when the traditional idea of a Barolo or Babaresco was always a site cuvée, Vietti wanted to express the special potential of his top sites and developed them as single site wines. But it was not only with the top Nebbiolo wines that the winery took bold steps. Vietti is also known for its exceptional single-vineyard Barbera and its Arneis. It is also thanks to Vietti that Arneis is experiencing such a renaissance in Piedmont and is now indispensable. The winery has been cultivating its vineyards organically for years.
