Colour & Appearance

Transparent, vibrant purple-red – clear and luminous in the glass, without any heaviness.

Nose

An earthy, mineralic bouquet opens the encounter with this wine. Beneath it layer notes of red and black fruits as well as fine herbal hints. The nose is fresh, complex and of remarkable balance – no element pushes itself to the fore, everything speaks in harmony.

Palate

On the palate, the Trispol 2021 unfolds an impressive structure: fine-grained, present tannins give the wine backbone without weighing it down. The fruit is ripe and fresh at once – far removed from any opulence. Here tension and precision reign, not fullness. A red wine that unites power and elegance in rare harmony.

Finish

Long, gripping and structured. The tannins carry the finish with emphasis, without roughness. A wine that lingers in the memory.

Terroir & Origin

The grapes come from three vineyard sites in south-eastern Mallorca, cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic viticulture. The sun-blessed island shows its structured, mineralic side here – Mediterranean warmth, tempered by precision.

Grape Variety & Vinification

A powerful blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and the autochthonous Mallorcan variety Callet. Winemaker Barbara Mesquida Mora ages the wine in a combination of large and small oak vessels – an élevage that promotes complexity without sacrificing freshness.

Food Pairing Recommendations

An ideal companion to croquettes with oxtail filling (Rabo de Toro) – the wine’s tannin structure harmonises wonderfully with the braised, robust meat. The Trispol also finds its place alongside a rustic potato soup with herbs.
