Wine information
The Rosé Brut Nature Millesimato comes from the original family vineyard Civranetta, located not far from the Venice lagoon, which has been farmed organically since 1974. 90 % Glera and 10 % Pinot Nero were used. The vines stand in so-called Caranto layers with clay, loam and lime-marly nodules. Glera and Pinot were harvested by hand, destemmed and gently pressed. After fermentation - Pinot in wood - the Glera 10 % Pinot was added and both fermented together a second time in tank using the Charmat method. After ten weeks, the Proesecco Bottled without dosage.
Color
salmon-coloured, lively, finely bubbly mousseux
Nose
This Prosecco Rosé presents itself lively fresh and pleasantly red-fruited. It reminds of red apples and pomegranates, blood orange zest, white flowers and a hint of roses and red currants along with some stalks. There are also hints of lime and yeast. The effect is juicy and piquant.
Palate
Also on the palate, the Millesimato 2021 from the spicy and subtly tart side. Zests provide freshness here, as does the clear acidity and the fact that nothing here has been covered up with sweetness. This is a racy, polished, red-fruited Prosecco with impressively fine perlage and a hint of salt that underlines the red berry notes. The bubbler is far removed from the sea of residual sweetness. Proseccoin which one usually bathes.
