Wine information
Syrah and Merlot are the grape varieties that characterise L'Amourouse Rosé, whose grapes ripen in the vineyards near Caudiès de Fenouillèdes on calcareous clay soils. Careful hand-harvesting and pressing of the grapes initiate the spontaneous fermentation process, which is completed in concrete tanks.

Fragrance profile
The 2022 L'Amourouse Rosé delights the nose with a bouquet of barberries and scents grated from the peel of a grapefruit. The aromatic profile is completed by rose hips and red currants, which combine with herbs from Provence and the scent of crushed stone to create a refreshing blend that invites you to drink it.
Taste experience
On the palate, the L'Amourouse Rosé convinces with a pleasantly juicy character, which provides the expected drinking pleasure through a subtle astringency of tannins and a hint of saltiness in the finish. The red fruit and citrus notes blend harmoniously with herbal, tobacco and rock aromas, creating a cuvée with power, freshness and energy. This wine is great fun on its own or in combination with Mediterranean cuisine.
Food recommendations:
Match the wine with grilled Iberico loin and roasted potatoes or a pizza with anchovies and capers. But a grilled gilthead served with lemons and fennel is also an excellent accompaniment to this refreshing rosé.
