Felix Callejo's El Lebrero reveals a fascinating world of flavours that goes far beyond the usual spectrum of a Spanish white wine. The Albillo grape shows its full personality here: Peach and Nectarine dance with Quince and Pear, while Grapefruit and Lemon zest provide lively freshness. Particularly noteworthy is the salty minerality, which is expressed in notes of Salted almonds and Popcorn manifests itself. Subtle oriental accents from Turmeric and Saffron give the wine an exotic depth, complemented by Acacia honey and Nut butter.

Palate

El Lebrero shows its true class on the palate: powerful and sublime on the palate, with a masterful balance between acidity and alcoholic fullness. The fine tannin - unusual for a white wine - forms the structural backbone and lends a pleasant bitterness. The mineral sparseness harmonises perfectly with the ripe fruit aromas.
