Color
Bright golden yellow, light reflexes
Nose
The nose makes a brilliant and intense start. Almond kernels, dried meadow herbs, hay and oyster shell form an unusual but extremely coherent combination. Ripe apricots and mirabelle plums. Clove and a little aniseed. Fennel and artichoke contribute rich vegetal notes. Orange blossom and its zest round it off loudly. Extremely Mediterranean. It seems at peace and extremely coherent. The ageing potential of Garnacha Blanca is well known and the wine is now at its best.
Palate
With plenty of tension on the palate, it builds up the tension. It sets the bar high and knows how to shine. Full of pressure and with high intensity, it shows fruit, spice and finest minerality. The aromas of the nose come to the fore in a similar way. Especially the herbal spice and almond stand out. The fine acid structure carries the wine immensely into the mouth and gives it an enormous amount of elegance. The minerality is pleasant and restrained. For the hot, dry climate, it seems surprisingly cool. Full of finesse and length. A wine with great potential, but the drinking window is already open. In the finish, yellow fruit, herbal spice and almond kernels again.
