Colour & Appearance

The péti fizz shimmers in the glass in an almost platinum hue, traversed by a lively bead that already visually announces its sprightly nature.

Nose

The aromatics are characterised by a consistent greenness: green apples and green plums dominate, accompanied by lime zest and gooseberry. These are joined by fresh grape notes, green herbs and delicate floral accents. A hint of cold white tea lends the bouquet additional finesse.

Palate

On the palate, the péti fizz reveals itself as juicy and acidity-driven – a beverage that deliberately eschews opulent aromatics. The green notes remain subtle yet present. The combination of the natural acidity from unripe grapes and the added carbonation creates good pressure and a refreshing liveliness that makes it the ideal partner for creative cocktails.

Grape Variety & Vinification

Tement takes an unconventional approach here: the péti fizz is produced from green-harvested, unripe grapes of various varieties – Welschriesling, Muskateller, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc – from their own vineyards in South Styria. To prevent fermentation, the juice is pasteurised and subsequently carbonated. The result is an alcohol-free verjus with a sparkling character.
