Introduction to wine
This full-bodied rosé, made from the 100% Lemberger grape, is the result of manual labour and the process of stomping and bottling. The producers Olympia Samara and Hannes Hoffmann follow biodynamic principles and are about to be recognised as Demeter producers.
Color
The wine captivates with an elegant pearly hue, interspersed with silver highlights.
Scent
This 2022 rosé exudes fresh, cool aromas of red fruits and rosehip, paired with subtle floral notes and hints of meadow herbs and thyme. The bouquet appears elegant and restrained, a promising start for this subtle rosé.
Taste
On the tongue, it surprises with freshness, a delicate fruitiness and a fine spicy flavour. With a moderate alcohol content of 10.5 vol%, it is the perfect pleasure wine, solo or in combination with light nibbles and snacks.
Food recommendations
As alternatives to salted almonds and olives, you could go for roast beef slices or shrimp cocktail instead. Instead of tomato bread with olive oil, a gazpacho would be ideal, and as a substitute for the courgette and tomato tortilla, a light seafood paella would be perfect.
