Splendour of colour
The 2012 Remirez de Ganuza Gran Reserva welcomes us with a bright cherry red, accentuated by deep black and violet reflections.
Fragrance ensemble
Its nose is an enticing promise - the scent of wild raspberries, cherries, cassis and blueberries wafts towards you. The distinct herbal notes of rosemary, thyme and sage are subtly underlined by floral nuances such as violets and wild roses. This bouquet is finely rounded off by a hint of graphite and the spice of star anise and cinnamon. A truly seductive wine which, despite its richness, has an extremely stimulating and elegant note!
Taste experience
On the palate, it reveals itself as a pure seducer - silky and velvety, it glides over the tongue and unfolds a beguiling finesse. The mineral and persistent finish stirs up the longing for another glass and finely tuned cuisine. Its storage potential is far from exhausted. Decanting is recommended and it should be served in a generous glass.
Culinary recommendations
Enjoy this drop with smoked red beets, refined by charcoal and a balsamic marinade, garnished with rosemary. A fillet of beef with a spicy sauce and rosemary gnocchi is also a good choice. Complementing this is quail with a filling of foie gras wrapped in pastry sheets and refined with white truffle.
