Tasting note
Info about the wine:
The VDP.GUTSWEINE are a meticulous selection of grapes grown in the vineyards along the Rhine. Five different wine villages, five different soil types have given rise to the Latin term QVINTERRA.® inspiriert.
Color:
Brilliant golden yellow with delicate green reflections.
Nose:
The 2023 Qvinterra Pinot Gris is typically apple and walnut flavoured, with distinct exotic notes of mango, ripe pineapple and orange. An extremely juicy and invigorating aroma that tempts you to savour it straight away.
Palate:
Juiciness and exoticism define its flavour, interspersed with fine acidity, a hint of minerality and a fine tart note in the aftertaste, which immediately whets the appetite for another glass and for the accompaniment of aromatic cuisine.
Food pairing suggestions
- Mango salad with green asparagus (Vegetable & Vegetarian)
- Red mullet fillet with tomato and candied lemon (fish)
- Roasted black pudding with figs and onions (meat)
