Terroir & origin

Manincor cultivates vineyards on the Lake Kaltern, one of the warmest regions in South Tyrol, where the Mediterranean microclimate meets Alpine coolness. The name „The Wedge“ refers to the wedge-shaped plot, which benefits from this unique location. The soils from Limestone and moraine rock give the wine a mineral freshness, while the altitude preserves its characteristic acidity.
