Tasting note
Color:
Dense violet red, slightly cloudy
Nose:
The fine fragrance of the 2022 Bourgogne Rouge immediately captivates the palate, with plenty of fresh fruit of sour cherries, wild raspberries, redcurrants, cassis, rosehip and elderberry beguiling the senses. Fine notes of ivy, wild roses, cedar wood and a hint of graphite are added on contact with oxygen. An extremely inviting flavour full of finesse and elegance.
Palate:
On the palate, it fascinates with the beguiling fruit of the nose in combination with an invigorating acidity, a fine-grained tannin structure and a precise, salty minerality. With its puristic, fruity, almost refreshing structure, it harmonises perfectly with vegetarian cuisine and fish.
Food pairing suggestions
- Enjoy slightly chilled from large glasses.
- Ravioli with chickpea filling, red onions, nut oil and mint (vegetarian)
- Monkfish wrapped in ham with broccoli puree, sun-dried tomatoes and sage
- Roast veal liver with cassis sauce and mashed potatoes
