Wine information

Adrien Roustans Tire Bouchonin German Corkscrewis a special cuvée. In addition to 25 % each of Grenache and Carignan and 20 % of Cinsault, there are 10 % each of the rare varieties Aramon, Counoise and Œillade. The vineyards are located on former sandbanks deposited by the nearby River Ouvèze. After manual harvesting, the whole grapes were fermented in a carbonic maceration. The wine was matured in concrete tanks for six months.

Color

Medium, slightly transparent ruby red colour

Nose

Adrien Roustans Tire Bouchon is said to be a wine "du plaisir et du fruit", "le vin des amis par excellence". So here is a vin de soif from the southern Rhône and that is exactly how the vin de France also. It smells of cherries, strawberries, raspberries and elderberries, a little blond tobacco, yeast dough, some dog rose, liquorice and garrigue.

Palate

On the palate, this is a wine for great socialising, a wine for wine glasses or for water glasses; at the dining table at home or for the burger fry-up. The Tire Bouchon is drinkable and juicy with lots of red, sensually silky fruit and a fine tannin that has a certain graininess in just the right amount. There is also a well-structured acidity that brings the wine to life. In fact, this is a wine for which you only need a corkscrew to be happy.
