Colour
bright, quite transparent cherry red colour
Nose
Tattouine Rouge is a fruity, tart, fresh red wine reminiscent of red apples with skin, peaches and red berries. There are also notes of undergrowth, herbs and a drop of amaro.
Palate
On the palate, the 2023 Tattouine Rouge Tart, fresh, savoury, juicy, light and powerful. The tannins provide a grippy texture and rub lightly across the palate. The wine prances and is very agile, herbaceous and tart, awakening spirits with its tart red berry and sour cherry notes. This is immensely juicy right to the end.
Food pairing suggestions
- Chipirones filled with fresh goat's cheese and grilled herbs (cheese, seafood)
- Toasted bread with also toasted black pudding and parsley (meat)
- Tomato tarte tatin with fresh goat cheese, olives and thyme (Vegetable & Vegetarian)
