This gem in Castelnuovo Berardenga is located in the heart of Chianti. Giovanna Morganti is the owner and winemaker of the Le Boncie winery and has been familiar with wine since she was a child. Her father, one of the country's best-known oenologists at the time, introduced her to the secrets of grape juice at an early age. After studying oenology, she was able to expand her store of valuable knowledge as part of a research project. She analysed over 300 autochthonous Tuscan grape varieties and varietal variants for their suitability for viticulture. In her own vineyards, she favours the classic grape varieties of the region, as they produce the best results on her soils. It is no coincidence that Giovanna and her Chianti enjoy an excellent, almost legendary reputation among connoisseurs and gourmets worldwide. Some even describe her wines as the essence of Tuscany.
