Colour & Appearance
Luminous ruby red with a characteristic rusty rim that reveals the herbal infusion and natural oxidation process.
Nose
Uncompromisingly authentic. Wormwood and turmeric dominate the first impression, followed by earthy root notes and balsamic hints of tincture. Chamomile and dried herbs complement the aromatic spectrum – an olfactory profile that recalls the original, medicinal tradition of vermouth. Nothing saccharine, no concessions to the mainstream.
Palate
Here the full seriousness of this vermouth reveals itself. The attack is radically dry, built on extract rather than sugar. The bitterness of wormwood, nettle and yarrow comes through clearly – not for the faint-hearted. Yet those who embrace it are rewarded with impressive complexity: mint and lemon verbena provide fresh counterpoints, whilst mace and acacia honey contribute subtle warmth and roundness. The astringency is precise, almost surgical – a vermouth for connoisseurs.

Terroir & Origin
