Colour & appearance

A transparent, lively ruby red colour with lighter reflections at the edge of the glass - classic for a youthful Valpolicella that does not deny its origins.

Nose

The aroma unfolds with remarkable precision: fresh sour cherries and wild red berries dominate, underpinned by fine notes of hollyhocks and a hint of hazelnut shells. The fragrance is not overpowering, but rather subtle and inviting, with subtle spicy nuances of freshly ground black pepper that add complexity to the wine.

Palate

On the palate, the Monte Tabor is refreshingly straightforward with a vibrant acid structurewhich is typical of the chalky soils of its origin. The cherry fruit continues, accompanied by a fine tannin structure that envelops the wine without ever becoming overpowering. With a moderate 12.5% alcohol, it presents itself as a prime example of Drinking flow and elegance - a Valpolicella that impresses with finesse rather than power. The finish is precise, cool and of medium length with a pleasant mineral note.

General information

This organically produced Valpolicella comes from vineyards located between 220 and 300 metres above sea level on the hills of the Montorio and Illasi valleys. The classic cuvée of 65% Corvina, 25% Corvinone and 10% Rondinella reflects the tradition of the region, while the sedimentary limestone soils give the wine its characteristic freshness.
