Info
The Darscho vines are between 20 and 40 years old and mature in oak barrels. "Darscho" is the name of one of the many small vineyards that create the exceptional microclimate of the Seewinkel.
Color
Intense golden yellow.
Nose
The 2021 Darscho opens with an impressive nose. Aromas of ripe orange, orange zest, lime and lime zest dominate. With oxygen, notes of cinnamon, dry biscuits and flint are added, accompanied by almond cream and salted butter. An incredible complexity tantalises the senses.
Palate
It is juicy, fruity and invigorating on the palate. The crisp, fresh acidity is beautifully embedded in the fruit, which is rounded off by a creamy melt. Its brilliant fullness makes its mark and at the same time lingers in the memory with vibrant liveliness. A wine with pure Burgundian finesse.
