Tasting note
Color:
Bright golden yellow with green inclusions
Nose:
Cuvée Fleur is loud and intensely fruity. It presents a wide variety of exotic flavours in the form of passion fruit, mango and cantaloupe melon. Kaffir lime leaves as well as bergamot and Amalfi lemon with their zest give it a tart kick of freshness. Local fruits can also be found in this cornucopia of flavours. Peach, apple, pear and quince. There are also plenty of white flowers in the glass. I find daisies, apple, jasmine and acacia on the nose. It also has plenty of green accents. Coriander, lemongrass and mint lend it a Far Eastern flair with plenty of energy.
Palate:
It brings fruit, freshness and energy with every sip. The fruit is totally juicy and bursting with vitality. With a moderate but very essential acidity structure, it stretches into the long finish. Its fruit is always compact and precisely worked out. A wine with ambition and quality, without being demanding. A good sip of wine for every moment.
Food pairing suggestions
- Vietnamese style oysters with fish sauce and coriander (seafood)
- Mango and papaya salad with chilli chicken (poultry)
- Marinated char with green asparagus and blackcurrant vinaigrette (fish)
