Add to this crisp tree and stone fruits – apple, pear, peach – all in dreamlike purity. A wine that could be immediately identified as a Middle Mosel Kabinett in any blind tasting.

Palate

Here lies the true masterpiece of Alexandra Künstler and Konstantin Weiser: 39 g/l residual sugar is simply nowhere to be found. The acidity – precise, refined, vibrant – holds the sweetness in perfect balance, never dominating it. The result is a wine of floating lightness, dancing elegance and mineral depth. Finely contoured, delicate, ethereal – and yet always rooted in stone.

Finish

Long, saline-mineral, with a lingering echo of citrus peel and damp slate. The finish is endless and enticing – a Kabinett that seduces you to take the next sip.

Terroir & Origin

The grapes come from ancient vineyard parcels of the Wolfer Sonnenlay vineyard site on the Middle Mosel – steepest slate terraces that give the wine its unmistakable mineral character. The grapes were harvested at only 80° Oechsle: deliberately lean, deliberately light.

Grape Variety & Vinification

Pure Riesling, classically made in the traditional Mosel barrel. No frills, no modernity – just the craftsmanship that has defined this region for centuries. 8.0 % vol. alcohol underscores the dancing lightness of the wine.

Food Pairing Recommendations
