Tasting note
Color:
Bright yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose:
The fine aroma of the 2022 Bourgogne Blanc is characterised by bright fruits such as pear, citrus, lemon thyme, lemon peel, apple and a hint of ginger. The animating fruit is accompanied by fine minerality and a touch of flint. Its lively freshness is already present from the start.
Palate:
It catapults this freshness perfectly onto the tongue, the invigorating acidity is wonderfully embedded in the fine and lightly fruity character of the wine. An extremely stimulating fine Burgundy that beguiles the senses and harmonises perfectly with the classics of French-inspired cuisine.
Food pairing suggestions
- If possible, aerate and do not enjoy too cold from large glasses.
- Roasted prawns with fennel and lime oil
- Parsley ham in white wine jelly with a small salad and walnut dressing
- Chaource with orange mustard and crispy baguette (vegetarian)
