Color

In light lemon yellow with light white-golden reflexes the wine shows itself clear and shining in the glass.

Nose

Devil too!

Already his first, reductive and veiled fragrance creates inevitably certainty that in these 750 milliliters from the sheer forgotten grape variety Parellada Montonega incredibly much wine is. Off into the carafe and get to know each other.

On a comforting base of hay flowers, dried grains and the nutty scent of safflower oil, the wine slowly reveals its yellow fruit, which fills the glass in the shape of honeydew melon, ripe papaya and Sharon fruit. The Burgundy glass, mind you. All this is courageously enriched by delicate notes of eucalyptus, spruce shoots and a hint of cotton candy.

Palate

For all the warmth and softness of its bouquet, the 2016 Terra Vermella from the Nin-Ortiz family is almost brittle on the palate. After a broad-shouldered attack, it lets its yellow-fleshed fruit dance across the palate in silky movements. With a creamy texture, the wine leaves a sparse finish, but with the ethereal warmth of licorice as soon as you breathe in and out again.

A puristic enrichment of the wine world.
