Wine profile
This exquisite Riesling grew on primary rock and on a delicate humus cover, which underlines its unique note.
Preparation process
The wine spent four years in large oak barrels and was carefully bottled on an optimal fruit day.
Appearance
In colour, it appears a radiant, medium golden yellow.
Aroma
Its nose is characterised by a seductive accord of lime, orange peel, vineyard peach and quince jelly tones. Its intense, palpable minerality rounds off the strong start and unfolds an exciting youthfulness with an amazing freshness.
Taste
At the first tasting, the wine shows its full glory. The exciting harmony of fruit and invigorating acidity, coupled with subtle tannic notes, tickles the palate and whets the appetite. The lingering finish suggests that the wine still has ageing potential. Give it time to breathe and be sure to decant it.
Culinary recommendations
Experiment with different dishes to complement the purity of this wine, whether it's a hearty parsnip risotto with savoy cabbage and plum-spiced sauce; a light veal sausage with carrots and green asparagus; or a succulent pan-roasted pike-perch accompanied by roasty cauliflower and a velvety potato puree with nuts.
