The Barthelmé and Mann families have been growing wine for almost 400 years. Today, brothers Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé and their wives Marie-Claire and Marie-Thérèse run the family estate, which grew out of the two estates. Their winery is located in the heart of Alsace, a few kilometres south of Colmar. The two likeable brothers conjure up inimitable terroir-specific wines full of character from their five Grand Cru vineyards, which bring out the unique minerality of the different soil structures. Not only the classic white grape varieties of Alsace are vinified here, but also a truly sophisticated Crémant and great Pinot Noir. The red Burgundy wines from Grand Cru vineyards, matured in Burgundy barrels, are a speciality of the house and a source of great pleasure for connoisseurs.
